Yuvraj offers free health checkups for India’s Olympians | Tokyo Olympics News

NEW DELHI: Former India World Cup-winning batsman Yuvraj Singh launched an initiative to offer free healthcare screening for all Olympians representing India in the Tokyo Games. The programme will be carried out by Healthians – a health test at home startup – which has been Yuvraj’s pet projects.
All 128 will be given the service for free and medal-winners will receive 10 years of free health checkup packages.
“India needs more sportspeople to put us on the World map with mega wins and participate in international sporting events such as Olympics, which is considered the pinnacle for sports. Just your participation means that you are among the best, and such people deserve every acclaim, honour and endowment,” Yuvraj said.
“With an objective to inspire and help prepare athletes for world sports, Healthians will provide 4 years of free health tests for all 2021 Olympics athletes and 10 years of free tests for all winners. We need to support sportsmen and move towards a glorious future in sports,” he added.
